Historic Museum Event Space

The museum provides a unique and magnificent setting for hosting corporate, private, and nonprofit events. Located in the heart of the Financial District, the museum occupies three floors of a 1927 former historic bank. The Grand Mezzanine Banking Hall has retained much of its original architectural detail and boasts 30-foot ceilings, Palladian windows, and an entrance leading to a grand marble staircase. The museum’s exhibits are mobile which allows seating for dinners as well as receptions and presentations. The London & Amsterdam Auditorium, on the concourse level, is also available for lectures and conferences that can be divided into six smaller rooms for breakout sessions.

Our inventory is extensive with thousands of props to ensure your Bar/Bat Mitzvah is as colorful and crazy as possible, or your wedding is classic and simple in minimalistic modern white luxury and sophistication throughout. The Museum’s grand space provides an inspirational backdrop for your special occasion. Our catering division completes the perfect formula we have for putting on the best event ever at the Museum of American Finance. We handle every single aspect while you worry about the fun parts like entertainment and floral choices.

The Museum of American Finance is perfect for financial agencies and firms looking to host a corporate event, summit or holiday party. The Museum can hold up to 275 guests for sit down dinners, and cocktail style receptions for up to 400 guests. The massive space filled with chandeliers and a grand staircase exudes the grandeur of 1920’s architecture. The museum has both a Grand Mezzanine and Concourse level providing the ultimate flexibility for conferences; meetings and events with break out rooms for team building and collaboration.
